Mahler 7 — Chicago Symphony Orchestra
Renowned Dutch conductor Jaap van Zweden, a frequent guest on the CSO podium, joins the Orchestra for a European Tour that features performances of Gustav Mahler’s Symphony Nos. 6 and 7 and includes the CSO’s appearance as the only U.S. orchestra to perform at the 2025 Mahler Festival at Amsterdam’s Concertgebouw, followed by concerts in Hamburg, Dresden, Prague and Wrocław.

Ever wonder what toys do when people aren’t around? Pixar Animation Studios’ Toy Story answers that question with a fantastic fun-filled journey, viewed mostly through the eyes of two rival toys–Woody(Tom Hanks), the lanky, likable cowboy, and Buzz Lightyear(Tim Allen), the fearless space ranger. The FREE BROADWAY IN CHICAGO SUMMER CONCERT, sponsored by ABC 7 Chicago, will take place on Monday, August 12, 2024 at 6:15 pm at the Jay Pritzker Pavilion in Millennium Park (201 E Randolph St).
